Ingredients
  •  200 gr. Veal or Mutton Fillet meat
  •  100 gr. Burghul
  •  Salt
  • Spices
  • Black Pepper
  • 1 Onion

 

 

Kibbe nayyeh
Kibbe nayyeh or raw kibbeh is a common Levantine mezze, and considered to be a traditional dish of Northern Lebanon, consisting of minced raw lamb or beef mixed with fine bulgur and spices. Kebbeh nayyeh is often served with mint leaves and olive oil, green peppers, and green onions. Arabic bread is used to eat it. Sometimes a sauce of garlic or olive oil is served.

  1. Pound or process meat in a food processor very well with the onion, spices and salt .
  2. Wash and soak burghul in water for ten minutes then Press by hand to remove excess water.
  3. Add meat and other ingredients and knead extremely well by hand .
  4. Serve raw with onion rings and olive oil.
