Ingredients
  • 1/2 kg of pasta conchiglie (shell shape)
  •  8 small zucchini
  •  250 gr. can of tuna fish.
  •  2-3 cloves of garlic.
  •  Hot red pepper to taste.
  •  1/3 cup of olive oil.
  •  Salt.

Pasta
Pasta is a type of noodle and is a staple food of traditional Italian cuisine, with the first reference dating to 1154. It is also commonly used to refer to the variety of pasta dishes. Typically pasta is made from an unleavened dough of a durum wheat flour mixed with water and formed into sheets or various shapes, then cooked and served in any number of dishes

Conchiglie al Tonno e Zucchini
(Shell pasta with tuna and zucchini)


 

  1. Crush garlic by hand and fry  slightly in olive oil  then add the red hot pepper.
  2. Cut the zucchini into small cubes and add to the above and fry all till they acquire a golden color.
  3. Add salt to taste.
  4. Mash the tuna slightly with a fork  without its oil and add it to the zucchini.
  5. Turn all rapidly to blend (not to cook) and remove quickly from fire.
  6. Boil pasta  al dente and strain.
  7. Add pasta to pan containing the zucchini and tuna etc.
  8. Place pan on medium fire again and stir all together for 2-3 minutes until well blended.
  9. Fans of Parmesan might like to sprinkle some on their plates.
  10. Shrimps may be used instead of Tuna Fish.
